Last week I’ve completed my personal website. With that, I thought of migrating All About The Web to my personal blog. This is going to happen now.

Why? It’s easier and I think better to maintain one blog at a time. Also an advantage to this is that my visitors should only visit one blog.

I’ve got plans for the future with the weblog in terms of tutorials, in-depth articles, best-of-the-web, etc. How long, how frequent and in which form is yet unknown. As always, I’m open for suggestions

For a large group of starting designers, Photoshop can be hard to learn; especially when you get in-depth.
Last months I’ve come across some good tutorials which guide you into the great world of Photoshop and show you some neat techniques.

I can’t say that all of these tutorials are really suitable for beginners, but still this is one of the best Photoshop tutorial site I’ve found over the last years! Do yourself a favor and check it out right now!

SEO Reclameland (part 2)

The first part of our SEO campaign is going all well. We targeted the keyword Driehoeksborden.
As for now we’ve managed to improve our listing in the SERP from position 9 on page 1 to position 5 on page 1. For us this is a big difference.

To continue our SEO campaign we’ve started with our next keyword which is Kranten. At this moment we aren’t listed in the top 100 (source) so we’ve got some work to do! Also, the kranten-page on Reclameland differs much from the Driehoeksborden-page. I’ll keep you informed with our results! Wish me luck

These weeks i’m busy doing researching and testing some SEO-techniques for Reclameland. The first term we’re targeting is Driehoeksborden. You can follow the progress (and some in-depth information) on Reclamebureau DRP’s blog (dutch!).

Flex RPC Fault #2032 (ioError)

Yesterday this error raised the first time. Today I figured out what it could be.
It seems this error raises when Flex tries to access two files at the same time through a HttpService. Looks like a SandBox restriction.

More information on error #2032 (ioError) and other occurences can be found in a post by Judah here (seems to give a lot of 404 pages).

Adobe Flex common controls for Photoshop

Today I’ve created some common used Flex controls. Why? Since I create my mockups for websites/ria’s in Photoshop and don’t want to make them directly in Flex.
